Empire Garden in Maryville

The hubby and I love this place !!! Always so friendly! Food is amazing !!! My fav is their chicken on a stick!! Mmmm! To us, they are the best Chinese food in town !

The food I had was good and at a fair price for lunch. Service was also friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, the restaurant itself looks a bit like the owners just don't care about its appearance, which is a shame.

There food is really good. They have great service. We order from there every few days for lunch at work. Fantastic group of people

Pork Eggrolls out of this world! We also had the hibachi chicken - Super good! I love this place! If I could get it delivered, Id never eat anything else!

The best general tso's chicken that I have ever eaten. It was an extra crispy and the sauce was perfect.The house lo mein was a nice accompaniment. The happy family was fair to middling.

By far the best Asian food in Maryville. Great service and very fresh food. You can also substitute the meat with Tofu. Which is wonderful if you happen to be a vegetarian.

Our new go-to Chinese place. We are new to the area and if you've ever moved away from home you'll know how sad you are to leave your favorite restaurants. Once we arrived, we immediately began trying all the local Chinese places and Empire Garden is by far the best! It's always clean, delicious, and the service is friendly. Some of the best General Tso's chicken and crab rangoons we have ever had. Cant wait to try a few more selections.

I’ve try several local Chinese food places, and this one by far the best. Do not let the looks of the exterior deceive you. I will only be going back to this place for now on. Highly recommended!!!

I dont usually travel to Maryville but I was visiting a friend on his birthday. We ate here because they have great vegan options. I'm not personally vegan so I ordered the general two's chicken. It was some of the best I've ever eaten. Really tasty sauce and the chicken was cooked perfectly. Crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Also great spring rolls.

The orange chicken was surprisingly better than my expectations.

Excellent food and hardly ever busy busy. A well kept secret until now.

Food quality not so hot... The beef was really chewy and had to spit at least two bites into a napkin as it would not break down due to poor cut of meet?? My son had the child's fried rice which was bland. I can say that their Hot and Sour Soup was definitely not bland though. Super Spicy! The waitress kept asking " is it hot" and laughing.. real weird vibe... first time I've left a Chinese restaurant without a "to go" box and not because I cleaned my plate 😒 Super surprised at the good reviews, maybe it was just a bad night.

Good food quick service

You cannot see very well from the busy road it sits on but this little hole in the wall place is really good. The food is always hot, always correct and banging.. not to mention that the front desk woman is amazing. She is very friendly and quick to make sure that you are happy.

Even though we got our order to go, we had a great experience with the staff. They were friendly and very helpful. We ordered Beef and vegetables along with sweet and sour chicken, with fried pork rick and egg drop soup. All was very good. We will definitely go there again!

Not clean. Food not fresh. Ordered veggie fried rice and there were only two peas and one carrot

Good Americanized Chinese food. Portions are very generous and the prices are more than fair. Plenty of seating and although they do brisk business there is usually no waiting to be seated. Japanese and Thai food is also offered here but I stick to Chinese dishes. The boneless spare ribs are always a hit and they are delicious.

Empire Garden is an amazing restaurant, my favorite thing is the sesame chicken but anything on there menu is AMAZING! My family and I barely agree on any place to eat but empire garden we ALWAYS agree on. The service was very good and don't forget about the soup or salad they are both awesome too!

Amazing Food!

Absolutely the best Asian cuisine around! Always fast and friendly. I think I'll order some tomorrow for lunch and dinner just to support them through the shut down. The chicken and broccoli and also the boneless barbecue spare ribs are bangin! Help your local businesses out folks. They need it.

Very good Chinese food, I tried the general tso chicken and I'm not big on rice, so I ordered noodles. The chicken was good the egg roll was great, so was the hot and sour soup. The atmosphere was sparse but clean the got a 99 on their health inspection. They take credit cards, cash. Overall a good deal and good food.

Excellent food. Don't let the understated store front fool you. Well worth the visit.

Although the interior is a little dated, the good food and friendly service make up for it. This is a family-run business and they do a great job. We had Panang Curry, pork lo mein, egg roll, & wonton soup. It was all good. The lo mein was enough for two people. Great place to order and carry out, as well.

Made from scratch, family owned restaraunt. Best in the area in my opinion.

Good food and a wonderful friendly staff

We have been looking for a good Chineese Food restaurant. I have to say, I have passed this place by a few times but never considered going in. What a bad decision. This place was wonderful. To go along with the good food the service was outstanding, not only for us but everyone around us. This place really does have the small town feel. One family, I imagine they are regulars, didn't really have to order, the server remembered the order from previous visits. Needless to say, we will be back. Christmas Eve tradition will continue.

Empire Gardens is my go-to for Chinese food and has been for years. They don't oversalt their food and there are lots of veggies in the dishes, which I appreciate. I love their egg foo young...delicious!

Always wonderful food, lunch Specials, and friendly folks. Delicious hibachi and sesame chicken, wonderful egg drop soup, and a nice Saké. Highly recommended.

Hibachi chicken was just ok,teriyaki beef wasnt that good and crab ragoons were terrible.fried rice was just rice with soy sauce mixed in, no veggies, no egg.maybe some other dishes vibe but what i had didn't.was looking for a good asian pick-up place close to walland but looks like we will be driving to seymour next time for Asian Yummy it's by far the best in the area.

Always great service, very fast, hot and fresh! Take out or dine in either way you get huge portions and food packed with flavor! Whether its Orange chicken, Dragon & Phoenix, or any of the curry options, you really cant go wrong here! Delicious every time and never disappointed!
